What can you do? Creating and maintaining a relationship with God is the first step in truly recognizing the value of life. After that? Getting plugged into a local church where you can encourage one another and support each other in prayer is also critical. As for interactions with pro-abortion advocates, mothers considering abortions, post-abortion mothers, survivors of missed abortions, and the many other people who are affected by this topic one way or another, we must first start by being kind. Being judgemental will turn someone off instead help them. If an individual is struggling with decisions they have or may make, a soft, caring hand may be what helps them navigate through the hardship and accept that they are loved and supported for who they are, not what they have or will do. God chose to love us regardless of who we were or what we have done. It’s the time we do the same.
